Experience a week of singing, performance, and fun at the Turnagain Arts Building! Whether you’re new to the stage or looking to refine your skills, this camp is designed to help you grow as a performer.
CAMP ACTIVITY DETAILS:
Breakthrough Vocal Camp is a full-day vocal and performance experience (9:00 AM–4:00 PM) designed for young singers ages 7 and up who want to grow in confidence, skill, and stage presence in a supportive, high-energy environment.
Each day, campers receive individualized vocal coaching with experienced instructors, focusing on healthy technique, breath support, tone development, pitch accuracy, and expressive performance. Every camper works on a solo song selected specifically for their voice, age, and skill level, giving them the opportunity to shine in a way that feels both challenging and achievable.
Campers also participate in daily group rehearsals where they collaborate on a fully staged group number. This includes learning harmonies, choreography, stage movement, microphone technique, and performance skills. Throughout the week, students practice stage presence, connecting with an audience, and building the confidence to perform both as a soloist and as part of a team.
Beyond vocal training, camp includes creative craft projects, music-themed activities, games, and daily outdoor park time to keep energy balanced and spirits high. Structured breaks are built into the schedule to ensure campers stay refreshed and focused. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided, and campers bring their own lunch.
The week culminates in a final performance for family and friends, where campers take the stage to present their solo pieces and the full group production number. This showcase highlights not only their musical growth, but also the confidence, teamwork, and joy they’ve developed throughout the week.
